The last book I have read was one of the most boring book that I have ever read in my life. I say that because during the reading of the book I slept two times, It was a really boring book. This book was an obligated reading in Spanish class, for this, I read book with any will. The book was structured by four big histories, but ich one has four more smaller histories. We only had to read a half part of the book, two stories of four, but two big stories have four smaller histories, consequently, we had to read eight stories and we had to memorize all protagonist of each one to do the spanish exam. The book has written with the old form of spanish language, therefore, the stories were more boring. I don't understand how this horrible book have been read by a lot of people, because in opinion of me and the students of my class, the spanish book was very poor and boring. After making the spanish exam ,I put book under a black place to not knowing anything of it. The last week, I have known that I have an 8 in the exam, It's a good mark.
Some years ago the F.C Barcelona team was considered
the best football team in the world because It won three times the
Champions League and others titles in five years. Also, the game of
team was considered the best in the world because the coach Pep
Guardiola created a new form to look football thanks, in the major
part, to a lot of fantastic football players: Messi, Xavi, Iniesta,
Henry, Puyol... But now, the two last weeks, the F.C Barcelona
football team lost three games very importants with Real Madrid and
Milan. But this isn't reason to say the team has a personality
crisis, no, the image shown during these matches is the true reason.
I say that because in these three last matches with these two rivals
the play of F.C Barcelona It's the worse in many years. Also, I think
reason of the recent defeats is illnes of the first coach of team,
Tito Vilanova, caused by a laringe tumour. Absence of the first coach
of team has produced a performance drop into play of team, but I
think that F.C Barcelona is enabled to improve his game because It
has very good players but, specially, the best football player in the
world, Leo Messi. I hope that we improve the image in future matches
and win the Milan team in the quarters of the Champion League.

Personal Opinion:
I like this song because It speaks about how to be a member of the hall of fame and how to find yourself. The group "The script" is one of my favourite pop music group and, in this video, appear the voice of will.i.am, member of other music group called "Black Eyed Peas". I like voice of singers. Also, I agree with what it says, how to succes for find yourself.
Recently, I started to watch a new series called Spartacus: blood and sand. This series explain life and adventures of thracian men who fought at war with the Roman empire. But the men escaped from the Roman soldiers, therefore, they captured Spastaco and put hirself into a battlefield in Rome. There, the protagonist train and fight with other gladiators. Nowadays, I have looked only few chapters of the New Zealander series. I think that this series is very interesting and intriguing because at the final of each chapter you don't know that will hapen in the next chapter. Also, I liked this kind of series because I like the Roman stage and look the gladiators fights. My plans for future are view the complete series every weekend because during week I have a lot of exams and works. This isn't the only TV series I watch, I also watch other kind of series, for example: The Walkind Dead and The Simpsons. But Spartacus: blood and sand is the best series I have watched since 2012.
The last year, 5 December of 2012, I went to look a game of F.C Barcelona with one of my best friends, Santiago Chavarriaga. We went to Barcelona the day before match because the family of my friend have a big home in the central of city, concretly, in the Passeig de Gràcia. The day of the match, we went to the Camp Nou, field of F.C Barcelona, at 20:45 p.m. We went in this hour because the day of match was Champions League and team played front the Benfica team. The match was unimportant because the team of barcelona was clasified to play the following phase of the competition. Therefore, the players who played the match were infrequently football players, for example: Song, Pinto, Sergi Roberto... But, approximately, around the minute 70 Leo Messi began to play the match from footstool. But ten minutes after, the goalkeeper of Benfica hurt Messi and the F.C Barcelona emergency came to took the football player to hospital. We had a good time in Camp Nou, but we had worried abou the illness of Leo Messi. It was a great day with a big friend.
A group of scientifics are teaming up to come up with ways to let the general public hunt for cures of cancer. Cancer Research UK along with google and facebook, is trying to get people to search for mutations in DNA which lead to cancer. There has been rapid to be analysed by eye, but there are not enough scientists. There has been rapid progress in working out the exact suqeunce of a tumours's DNA. Profesor Carlos Caldas, from the University of Cambrigde, said: "Future cancer patients will receive treatment targeted to the genetic fingerprint of their tumour and we hope this exciting project will bring forward the day this becomes a really". Finally, he said: "We're making great progress to understand the genetic reasons cancer develops".
Personal Opinion:
I think that this idea to aproximate all people to investigate the origins of mutation in the human DNA is very new and interesting. For me, this is the form, in the new XXI century, to advance to discover a cure of cancer and other diseases of the human body. I think that all togheter, ich one with his habilities, we can find solutions to remedy all problems which humanity fought: cancer and the mutations in DNA. Also, in my opinion, biologists and physicians would cooperate with society to give new ideas from their. For this, this idea of the Profesor Carlos Caldas and the University of Cambrigde can be a new rule to investigate cancer and the mutations in DNA based on the opinions of society.
Yesterday, 24 February 2013, the traditional Oscars ceremony did celebrated. This ceremony was an glourious act for all the actors in the world because here, their work can be reward. In that ceremony, all the actors and actresses dress hirself with the best dresses and suits in the world to produce a good looking. Before to begin the ceremony, all people walks on the red carpet with their costumes while photographers are taking photos. While the ceremony happens, the actors, the actresses and the directors of the films are waiting to catch the hoped Oscar. After the ceremony, all the actors who won an Oscar come to the red carpet to takes photos with their award in hands.
This year, the film which win more Oscar was the film Life of Pi, with four awards; and the second films which won more Oscars were Argo and The Miserables, with three award.
Personal opinion:
In my opinion the Oscars ceremony awards is too luxurious for a simple give of an award. I think that in the actual economic situation, the organizers of the ceremony can make the party less expensive and give the money at the cinema industries more poor than Hollywood, for example: the spanish cinema industry. This action can make more enmity with USA and other cinema industries, consecuently, I think that the new films would be best than the current films. Also, I don't agree with the actual model of deliver of the Oscar awards. I say this because I think that the jury of the ceremony only deliviered films which have more espectators in the same year, but they don't look the quality of films. In conclusion, I think that the Oscars ceremony is good for give awards for the of the actors and the directors, but It's very expensive to do.
Hello, today we will talk
about one of the most exotic country in the world, New Zealand. We
have chosen this country because we thing that New Zealand is an
unknown country and because It is an english speaking country. In
this presentation we will explain general stuffs of the country:
geography, language, religion, politics and art. Now, I start this
presentation asking you one think:

Zealand? Where?
Geography
New
Zealand is an island country in the southwestern Pacific Ocean. The
country comprises two big islands and a lot of smaller islands. New
Zealand is situated some 1500km east of Australia across the Tasma
Sea. Because this remoteness, It was one of the last land to be
settled by humans. The capital of New Zealand is Wellington, where
live 400.000 people, but the largest city is Auckland, where live
1400000 people.
New
Zealand is long and narrow, with approximately 15.200km of coastline
and a total land area of 300.000 km.
The
South island is the largest landmass of New Zealand. There are 18
peaks over 3000m, the highest of which is Mount Cook. The North
Island is less mountanainous but its marked by volcanism.
Languages
English
is the predominant language in New Zealand, spoken by 90% of people.
New Zealand english is similar to Australian English and many
speakers from England. The reason of that is because Australia and
New Zealand were british colonies for 1770, but nowadays, the two
countries are independent since 1 July 1841.
Other
language speaking in New Zealand is Maori, spoken by 5% of people.
After the Second World War, Maori only has speaken in a few remote
areas. Nowadays, It is one of the New Zealand's official languages.
There
are many minorities languages spoken in New Zealand. Samoan is one of
the minority languages in the country, spoken by 3% of people.
Other
languages spoken in New Zealand were: French, Hindi and North Korean,
spoken by 2% of people.
Religion
Christianity
is the predominant religion in New Zealand. The 55% of the population
identified them selves as Christians, while another 35% indicated
that they hadn't religion, and around 10% of people has other
religions: Hindu, Buddhist, Muslim, Jewish and other.
There
are a lot of Christians who identify themselves with the Maori
religion, a not official religion.
Sports
Most
of the major sports played in New Zealand have English origins. Golf,
netball, tennis and cricket are the most played for New Zealand
people. Soccer is the most popular in the young people and rugby
union attracts the most spectators.
New
Zealand has competitive international teams in rugby, netball and
cricket. New Zealand national rugby union team is the best in the
world because it won the rugby league world champion.
Other
sports played in New Zealand are: cycling, fishing, swimming,
running, tramping and surfing are also populars.
Self-evaluation:
Body language and eye contact (10%)
I don't look my paper during all the presentation because I think that for looking the paper the mark of our presentation would be worse. For this, I don't look paper any moment, but it's true that a lot of times I d'ont speak well because I'm thinking about the words which I will speak. I think my mark is 10 out of 10.
Presentation and structure (20%)
We have done this presentation with a power point, the classical program to do this kind of works. I think that I organized correctly the diferents parts of the presentation (greography, language, food...) with an importance order: starting with the stuff more importants and finishing with the less important things. I think the mark is 20 out of 20.
Content (40%)
We have explained general stuff of the country of New Zealand, but at the same time, we have explained a lot of specific things about the diferents points of the presentation. For example, we have spoken about the predominant language in New Zealand, the English. Also, at the same time, but, we have explain others speaking languages in the country, for example, the Maori and the Samoan. For this, I think that in this presentation we have explain a lot of general and special stuff of the country at the same time. I hope the mark is 35 out of 40.
Vocabulary and grammar (20%)
I think that I used a good vocabulary and grammar during the presentation. I always tried to use words which we have studied in english class and also, I tried to learn new words in english for do this presentation. Also, I think that my vocabulary was varied and current. I thing the mark is 18 out of 20.
Pronunciation and entonation (10%)
I think that this part of the presentation was the worse of all. I say this because during the presentation I miss with the correct pronunciation of some words. I think that I can improve my pronunciation doing more oral activities and speaking with english speaking people. For this, I think the mark of the pronunciation is bad, 5 out of 10.
Final mark
I think my final mark, doing add of points, wuld be a 8'8. I think the next presentation that I will do, I want to improve my pronunciation and entonation to have the mark of 9. It's my objective for the next presentation.

The person who I'm going to describe is a man with a big and long mouth. He's a 16 years old teenager who lives in the village of Castelló d'Empúries in Catalonia. He's a very big teenager because he's 195cm tall and weights aproximatly 90kg. He has got brown and very small eyes, they are ugly. His head is a bit big, but It's because he has got rather long black hair. He always dress big jeans and big sweater.
As for his personallity, the teenager is shy an introverted. He's rather shy when He speaks with other people who he doesn't know. He is extroverted with his friends but not at all sociable with other people, in this situations he is very introverted. He isn't very funny and generous with anybody, for this I think that he isn't honest. He's rather intelligent but he isn't a particularly brilliant student. When he goes to parties, he isn't polite with the people but in a normal situation he's rather friendly. Sometimes, I think that this boy is particularly unfriendly with his friends because they laught at him. They call hirself with the nickname "Simi" (ape in english).
I finish this description thinking that this young boy is very sensitive but he isn't honest with the other people. But, in my opinion, he is one of those friends you can always trust and with whom you have fun with he.
The 11 February 2013, in a shock anouncamient, the Vatican said the Pope Benedict XVI would resign to be Pope of Vatican. It's very rare for a Pope to resign, because It's a privilege to be the maximun representan of the Christian religion. Speaking in latin the Pope, at the age of 85, told cardinals in Rome that his strengths due to an adcanced age are no longer suited to the role. The last pope to resign was Pope Gregory XII in 1415 because an illness affected his health. The true name of the Pope Benedict XVI is Joseph Ratzinger and He was born into a traditional Bavarian farming family in 1927. After his resignation, the Pope would return to his own village called Traunstein for live an a seminary and give experience to the young priest.
Personal opinion:
In one hand, I think that the resignation of the Pope Benedict XVI would be a turning point for the Christian religion. I say that because all the new Popes is more than 75 years old and I think that now is the time to the new Pope would can be younger than others Popes. It's not my decision, but I think the Vatican will chose a young Pope because with this form the young people will be more religious than now. On the other hand, I don't understand why only one man has the control of all the Vatican, It's slightly a monarchy sitem with which I disagree. I think that the Vatican would choose more than one Pope to have the control of the Christian religion. For example one Pope for each continent. I tink that this solution will reduce the racism in the Christian religion. If the Vatican can do this, a lot of people will begin to believe in Religion.
I'm writing to tell you my
personal opinion about our highschool, IES Castelló d'Empúries. In
this letter, I will tell you a lot of mistakes that I think the
institute have. But I don't write this letter to criticize the
center, I write this letter to help you to resolt all the things
which the highschool fail.
First, I think that the
timetable of the Bachillerat has a lot of problems of hours, because
we have only two hours in all of these subjects for every week:
philosophy, Spanish and Catalan language, gym and CMC. I think the
subject of philosophy is more important than the subjects of CMC or
gym, for this, I propose to remove hours of gym or CMC and add one
hour of filosophy for a week, because this subject is one of the
subjects which are in the Selectivity. I think that will is a great
change for all of the students of Bachillerat. Then, I will tell you
about the horrible decoration of the highschool. I think that the
outside of the institute looks a prison. Yes, I think that because
all the colours are dark or gray, like the colours of a prison. Also,
all the highschool is surrounded of grids and small towers, like a
prison. I think that the highschool will look better with a pint of
life colours, for example blue or green. I think that with this
change, all the students will go to the highschool happiest. Finally,
I think that the new law of the minister of education, Mr. Wert, is
the craziest think that the Spanish people has ever had. I think that
because Catalonia has a very important langue which the catalans are
very proud and any people in the world would destroy this langue. For
this, I propose to take a rebellion front this new law and not obey
her.
I think that with all of these
things IES Castelló d'Empúries could be one of the most important
and intelligent highschool of Catalonia.
I have had a dog called Dora since 2004. She's already nine years old, which means 63 years old according animals age and 9 years old according human age. I have bought her because my mother liked the animals, especially the race Boxer. I have walked with her every day: one time in the morning and other at the night. I have gone around my village for one or two hours. I haven't learnt to walk with her without strap yet. I have put food her every day since 2003, wich means She has eatten animal food all her live. Now, for finish this description I put a photo of my dog: DORA.
Hello, now I will speak about my clothes style. Usually, I wear casual clothes, but my style isn't classic of gothic, I have my own style. I don't always wear casual and comfortable clothes, I sometimes wear elegant and formal clothes, when I go to parties or when I go to birthdays. I d'ont like to wear Rapper style clothes, but I like to look smart. I think that I have an particular style because I d'ont have any influences about what I wear or buy. My style during my life has changed a lot. When I was a child, I wore formal clothes but, nowadays, I wear casual and comfortable clothes. I think that in this moment, I dress better than when I was a child. Finally, I think that I'm a person who wears casual clothes but I'm not a fashion victim. I like to wear dark big jeans with an sweatshirt when I go to the highschool. But when I go to parties, I like to look fashion wearing a dark suit with a lot of accesories (belt, gloves, clock)... I think that I have my own style!
